Contract 13-Week Travel Assignment Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Rotating Weekends 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

- Provide direct patient care in a Medical ICU setting, with assignments based on acuity and individual skill set
- Operate and monitor advanced ICU equipment including ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, and GE Cardiac Output monitors
- Assist with and support bedside procedures including central line placements, thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, and intubations
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
- Float to other units as needed per facility policy
- Adhere to facility dress code standards including royal blue scrubs, no artificial nails, and covered body art


Required Qualifications

- Active RN license in the state of Texas — temporary licenses will not be accepted
- Minimum 2+ years of MICU or MSICU experience
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required


Preferred Experience / Skills

- Experience with Meditech electronic health record system
- CCRN certification preferred
