Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (or ability to obtain before start date)
• Previous experience working with school-aged children, preferred
• Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs
• Collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
• Familiarity with IEP process, documentation, and compliance with educational standards
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students referred for OT services
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students’ academic and functional performance
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy goals into the classroom
• Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Provide direct and consultative therapy sessions based on student needs
• Educate school staff and families regarding strategies to support students’ participation and independence
