Job Description

Key Qualifications:
• Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current certification as a COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant)
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for Indiana certification
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred, but not required
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• An enthusiastic approach to promoting student independence and success
Primary Responsibilities:
• Work closely with occupational therapists to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in classroom and group settings
• Document student progress, maintain records, and contribute to team meetings
• Adapt activities and environments to support students’ access to curriculum and extra-curricular activities
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to ensure coordinated care for each student
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training
