Job Description
Role: Registered Nurse - Treatment at Kellogg Cancer Center, providing expert oncology nursing care.
Responsibilities
• Deliver safe, compassionate, and effective patient care independently.
• Utilize the nursing process for planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
• Administer chemotherapy, medications, and blood products.
• Supervise and guide unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Contribute to safety and high-quality patient experiences.
Qualifications & Skills
• Current Illinois RN licensure.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• CPR certification from American Heart Association required.
• Experience in oncology or outpatient infusion centers preferred.
