Registered Nurse (RN) - PRN Days - Oncology

Role Overview: This nursing position involves providing patient-centered, evidence-based care through the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure individualized care that respects cultural diversity.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver safe, high-quality clinical care, coordinating and documenting care effectively.
Partner with patients and families using various communication methods to promote understanding and shared decision-making.
Support teamwork and collaboration through interdisciplinary communication, documentation, and fostering an inclusive environment.
Participate in performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practice to enhance patient outcomes.
Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster professional growth and workforce development.
Adhere to organizational policies, clinical standards, and safety protocols, including regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Contribute to resource planning, protocol development, and quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications

Associate or Bachelor’s Nursing degree (Bachelor’s preferred).
Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact) and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience, with computer proficiency and experience in Epic and 3M preferred.
