Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) role involves providing high-quality nursing care within the Oncology Float Pool at a leading academic medical center.
Responsibilities include delivering safe, evidence-based patient care, supervising delegated tasks, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and prioritizing patient needs to ensure optimal outcomes.
The nurse must demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and computer skills, with required certifications in BLS and ACLS, and an active RN license.
Preferred qualifications include a BSN (or completion within 5 years) and 2-3 years of Medical Surgical/Oncology experience.
The position requires night shifts, with some weekend and holiday rotations, and involves managing diverse patient populations across multiple clinical specialties.
