Role: Registered Nurse (RN) on an Oncology Medical-Surgical Unit

Responsibilities Include

Providing high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care using evidence-based practices.
Performing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Partnering with patients and families through effective communication and patient-centered approaches.
Coordinating interdisciplinary teamwork to ensure safe and efficient care delivery.
Supporting performance improvement initiatives and participating in research activities.
Mentoring and serving as a preceptor to promote a qualified and healthy workforce.
Ensuring compliance with healthcare policies, standards, and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications And Skills

Licensed as an RN with current certification in BLS.
Minimum of less than 1 year of clinical experience or completion of an accredited nursing program.
Knowledge of clinical standards, critical thinking, and cultural sensitivity.
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practices.
