Job Description
Role Overview
This is a full-time Senior Radiation Therapist position responsible for delivering patient treatments using ionizing radiation under the supervision of a Radiation Oncologist. Key duties include preparing patient charts, administering accurate treatments, and coordinating scheduling. The role involves performing treatments such as treat & simulation, brachytherapy, and teletherapy, including IMRT, on oncology patients aged 18 and above.
Qualifications & Skills
Certified Radiation Therapist with ARRT RT(T) certification
Completed an accredited Radiation Therapy program
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Ability to operate the TrueBeam linac
Strong knowledge of radiology, medical imaging, and cancer care
Excellent patient preparation and treatment delivery skills
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Licenses & Certifications: R.T.(T)
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Radiation Therapy
Key Attributes
Ability to teach students and present current case studies
Attention to detail and adherence to regulatory standards
Strong communication and coordination skills
