Role Overview

This position provides direct patient care on a 32-bed leukemia and lymphoma unit, focusing on patients with blood cancers, chemotherapy, and immunosuppression support. It involves assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care within established standards, promoting patient and family-centered care, and educating on illness management and post-treatment needs.

Responsibilities Include

Developing and documenting individualized care plans with multidisciplinary team collaboration.
Assessing physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.
Participating in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and engaging in professional development.
Providing education to patients and families, ensuring understanding of care, medication, and home management.

Qualifications & Skills

Required: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree, licensure as RN.
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, with two years of experience.
