Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care - MedSurg Oncology - Full Time Night Shift

Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team, practicing in accordance with professional standards, organizational policies, and evidence-based practices. They support system goals through collaboration, documentation, and performance improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Perform nursing processes—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and individualized care.
Partner with patients and families, ensuring clear communication and alignment of care goals.
Coordinate and document safe, quality care across diverse clinical settings.
Promote teamwork, interdisciplinary collaboration, and participation in performance improvement activities.
Serve as preceptor or mentor to foster professional development and maintain a qualified workforce.
Engage in evidence-based practice, research, and data collection to enhance patient outcomes.
Support resource planning, protocol development, and system efficiencies.

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum of 5 years RN experience, with direct patient care preferred.
Current RN license (single or multi-state), BLS certification, and relevant licenses upon hire.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills.
Proficiency with technology and clinical documentation.
Ability to adapt in fast-paced environments and respond effectively to emergencies.
