Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

Role Overview: This position is for a registered nurse (RN) responsible for coordinating patient care, providing education, and supporting transitions of care across various settings. All new graduates with less than 12 months of practice are automatically enrolled in the Nurse Residency Program, and all nurses receive extensive orientation.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care and educate patients and families.
• Support professional nursing practice within the Mayo Nursing Care Model.
• Lead activities such as precepting and quality improvement efforts.
• Delegate patient care based on skill, experience, and resource availability.
• Communicate effectively, mentor colleagues, and participate in committees or projects.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduates or students from a registered nursing program.
• Current MN RN license and BLS certification.
• Preferred: One year of RN or LPN experience in applicable care settings.
• Ability to demonstrate leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.

Additional Details

• This role is eligible for TN visa sponsorship, requiring licensure and certification.
• Compensation ranges from $40.19 to $61.18 per hour, based on union contract.
• Full-time schedule with 12-hour night shifts, holiday rotation, and every third weekend.
