Job Description
Role: Inpatient Registered Nurse providing direct patient care in a clinical setting, with specialized training in chemotherapy and bone marrow transplant care.
Responsibilities: Conduct assessments, develop and coordinate individualized care plans, administer treatments and medications, evaluate intervention effectiveness, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, troubleshoot equipment, participate in evidence-based practice decisions, and contribute to quality and safety initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a nursing specialty training program (required), Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). Must possess strong clinical assessment, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and patient advocacy skills. Ability to manage patients across various acuity levels and coordinate multidisciplinary care.
Key Duties: Manage patient care in an acuity adaptable environment, promote safety, patient satisfaction, and adaptive responses, participate in clinical orientation and ongoing education, and partner with palliative care teams.
Additional Details: Work hours include 7p-7:30a with weekend and holiday rotations. The role involves active participation in safety and quality improvement activities. The organization values excellence, learning, innovation, and safety, fostering a collaborative and diverse work environment.
