Role Overview
Seeking a Full-Time Senior Radiation Therapist responsible for delivering precise radiation treatments to oncology patients, primarily for malignant tumors. The role involves patient preparation, treatment delivery, and coordination, with a focus on accuracy and adherence to standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare patients and charts prior to procedures.
• Deliver consistent and accurate radiation treatments.
• Complete treatments and manage patient scheduling.
• Operate the TrueBeam linear accelerator and perform treatment simulations, including 3D and brachytherapy procedures.
• Teach students and present current cases as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
• Certified Radiation Therapist with ARRT (RT(T) certification).
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Ability to operate TrueBeam linac and perform radiation planning and treatment procedures.
Additional Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong knowledge of radiology, medical imaging, cancer care, and radiation therapy.
• Excellent attention to detail and patient care skills.
