Full-Time Radiation Therapist

Role: Full-Time Radiation Therapist in the Radiation Oncology Department.

Responsibilities: Apply ionizing radiation per physician prescriptions, operate radiation equipment safely, and perform precise technical procedures. Participate in quality control, assess and educate patients and families about side effects, document accurately in EMR, and ensure patient safety through proper procedures and safety measures. Manage patient set-ups, simulate treatments, schedule appointments, and assist with additional tasks as needed. Contribute as a clinical instructor for students and participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications: Associate's Degree from an accredited Radiation Therapy program; ARRT Radiation Therapy certification; BLS certification required. Preferred minimum of 2 years of radiation therapy experience.

Skills: Ability to treat and simulate patients effectively, demonstrate technical proficiency, and adhere to safety protocols. Strong communication, attention to detail, and a collaborative attitude are essential.
