Join Our Team as an Oncology Med/Surg Registered Nurse!
As an Oncology Med Surg Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in influencing patient care. Your insights and collaboration with your direct manager and participation in hospital councils and nursing initiatives will help shape patient outcomes and the future of nursing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments during admissions and shifts, promptly identifying changes in condition.
• Implement medical orders, perform procedures as needed, and maintain accurate documentation of all care provided.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses, taking appropriate actions when necessary.
• Deliver exceptional patient care by responding swiftly to patient requests and proactively addressing needs.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and potential side effects, ensuring clarity of understanding.
Qualifications:
• Associate's Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of practice or active compact license.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
