Job Description

Hourly Pay Range:
$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate negotiated reflects the candidate's expertise and years of experience, among additional factors.
Position Highlights:
• Role: Registered Nurse, Infusion Clinic

• Location: Edward Hospital - Naperville, IL

• Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours/week

• Shifts: Monday-Friday, with options for 8 or 10 hour shifts. Weekend and holiday coverage rotates among staff (9am-11am).

• Travel Requirements: May need to float to Plainfield Infusion Clinic as necessary.

Overview:
• As a Staff Nurse, you will provide safe, compassionate care to patients, developing and evaluating personalized care plans in collaboration with the clinical team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create individualized care plans to achieve expected outcomes.

• Continuously evaluate patient progress and adjust interventions as necessary.

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and gather health data from patients, families, and colleagues.

• Communicate the care plan effectively to patient and family, ensuring mutual understanding and involvement.

• Individualize education for patients and families based on their specific needs and backgrounds.

• Teach disease management, emergency care, and medication information as appropriate.

• Identify and connect patients with community resources for effective disease management.

• Collaborate with peers and contribute to a supportive educational environment.

• Share knowledge and assist in the professional growth of team members.

• Delegate tasks when appropriate to support overall patient care.

• Provide emotional support and create a compassionate care environment.

• Assist technical staff with procedures such as venipuncture and IV management.

• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and stay informed on best practices.

• Monitor and assess effectiveness of wound/ostomy care plans if skilled.

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Assist in transporting acutely ill patients when necessary.

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, required.

• Experience: At least 1 year of RN experience, required. Oncology/infusion nursing experience is preferred.

• Certification: BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association, required.

• OCN/ONS certification is preferred.

• License: Active Registered Nurse Licensure in the State of Illinois, required.
