Job Description

Hourly Pay Range:
$40.45 - $62.70 - Pay rate reflects the candidate's expertise and experience among other factors.
Position Highlights:
• Job Title: Collaborative Registered Nurse, Oncology

• Location: Highland Park Hospital/Highland Park Kellogg Cancer Center - Highland, IL

• Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours/week

• Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 8am - 4:30pm, no weekends or holidays.

• Travel Requirement: Potential to float to Evanston and Glenbrook/Glenview Kellogg Cancer Centers as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to patients within a specific unit.

• Apply the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.

• Lead and supervise assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in providing interdisciplinary patient care.

• Collaborate and communicate with the healthcare team to promote optimal patient outcomes.

• Contribute positively to safety outcomes and enhance the quality of the patient experience.

Qualifications:
• Licensure: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse license, required.

• Education: Associate's in Nursing, required; Bachelor's in Nursing strongly preferred.

• Certification: Current CPR Certification from the American Heart Association, required. OCN/ONS provider card preferred.

• Experience: At least 1 year of Oncology Outpatient Infusion Center experience required; if no oncology experience, ED, ICU, or PACU experience highly preferred.
