Job Description
Hourly Pay Range:
$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate is based on your expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Highlights:
• Title: Registered Nurse - Treatment, Kellogg Cancer Center
• Location: Highland Park Hospital - Highland Park, IL
• Schedule: Full Time 40 hours/week
• Working Hours: Monday-Friday: 8am - 6pm, 4 days - 10 hour shifts, no weekends or holidays
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for patients at the Kellogg Cancer Center.
• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Administer chemotherapy, medications, and blood products to patients.
• Guide and direct unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering quality interdisciplinary patient care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Contribute positively to safety outcomes and enhance the patient experience.
Qualifications:
• Licensure: Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Illinois is required.
• Education: Associate's degree in Nursing is required; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is strongly preferred.
• Certification: Current CPR Certification from the American Heart Association is required; OCN/ONS provider card is preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in Oncology and/or Outpatient Infusion Center is preferred.
