Role Overview:
Seeking a
Senior Certified Radiation Therapist
to provide patient treatments utilizing ionizing radiation, under the supervision of a Radiation Oncologist.
Responsibilities include preparing patients and charts, delivering accurate treatments, coordinating scheduling, assisting physicians with procedures, administering radiopharmaceutical treatments, and providing patient education.
The role offers opportunities for cross-training within the Radiation Oncology system and utilizing advanced treatment technologies, including imaging, dosimetry, and HDR treatments.
Qualifications & Skills:
Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
Board Certified by the ARRT (RT[T])
High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree preferred
Licensure as R.T.(T)
No prior experience required; training provided for brachytherapy experience
Key Duties:
Patient preparation and treatment delivery
Coordination of patient scheduling and treatment processes
Assist with procedures and administer radiopharmaceuticals
Utilize the latest technology in radiation therapy
Additional Requirements:
Ability to work day shifts, Monday to Friday, with no weekends
