Physical Therapist - Full Time

Role Overview:

The physical therapist plans and executes treatment programs for patients across all ages, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. They assess patient needs, develop individualized interventions, and document progress effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Self-assess, seek ongoing professional development, and share knowledge with colleagues.
• Establish rapport and work cooperatively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, respecting cultural diversity.
• Communicate clearly with team members and patients using verbal, non-verbal, reading, and writing skills.
• Seek and provide constructive professional feedback, question logically, and analyze data to identify and solve problems.
• Maintain compliance with department policies, safety, and infection control procedures. Assist in departmental operations and promote program development.
• Develop and modify patient treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations; prepare documentation and assist in discharge planning.
• Participate in evidence-based practices and promote continuous improvement activities.
• Support student training as a Clinical Instructor, mentor staff, and foster team relationships.
• Actively listen, encourage contributions, and embrace change within the team environment.

Qualifications:

• Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Licensure & Certifications: Licensed Physical Therapist, BLS certification (must be obtained within 90 days of starting).
