Job Description
Registered Nurse – Oncology Infusion
Provide direct nursing care for oncology patients in an infusion setting, including administering chemotherapy and biologic infusions. Manage and care for central lines, perform patient assessments, monitor for adverse reactions, and coordinate complex care in collaboration with physicians, pharmacists, and interprofessional teams.
Key duties
Administer chemotherapy and biologic infusions safely and accurately
Assess patients and monitor clinical status during treatment
Manage central lines and related nursing interventions
Recognize and respond to infusion reactions and complications
Educate patients and families on treatment, safety, and care needs
Coordinate care plans and communicate effectively with the care team
Qualifications & Skills
Current Registered Nurse licensure
Strong clinical assessment, monitoring, and critical thinking skills
Proficiency with central line care and infusion nursing practices
Effective communication and collaboration across disciplines
Commitment to evidence-based practice, learning, and professional growth
