Position Details:
Location: Mercy Coletta Cancer Center
Shift: Part Time (20 hours/week)
Overview:
The Nurse Navigator is a nursing specialist responsible for coordinating comprehensive patient care across the treatment continuum. They collaborate with patients, families, physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to ensure seamless care delivery, utilizing advanced clinical expertise in oncology settings.
Qualifications:
Graduate from an approved nursing school; BSN preferred
Minimum of 2 years of related experience; 3 years in oncology preferred
Licensed RN in the practice state
BLS certification within 30 days of hire; oncology or chemo/biotherapy certification preferred
Physical Requirements:
Ability to push, pull, or lift 50 pounds regularly
Prolonged standing and walking
Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat
