Pediatrician - Child Advocacy Program

We are seeking a BC/BE Child Abuse Pediatrician to join a dedicated Child Advocacy team in a hospital-based, accredited center.

Responsibilities include: evaluating children with suspected physical abuse, sexual abuse, and neglect in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings; communicating with professionals across jurisdictions; providing teaching to trainees, medical staff, and community partners; and participating in administrative and research activities as desired.

The role involves rotations through inpatient consults and outpatient clinics, with opportunities for research, clinical service development, and academic pursuits. The team comprises experienced pediatricians and advanced practice providers, supporting professional growth.

Qualifications and skills: Board certification or eligibility in pediatric medicine, interest in child abuse cases, strong communication skills, and a commitment to multidisciplinary collaboration.
