Job Description
Position Summary
Seeking pediatric hospitalists to provide comprehensive patient care at inpatient and outpatient levels across multiple sites, including a freestanding children's hospital, community hospitals, and specialty centers.
Responsibilities include delivering direct patient care, subspecialty consultations, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and urgent/emergent services. The role emphasizes family-centered care, adherence to safety and quality standards, and application of evidence-based medicine.
In addition to clinical duties, physicians will support medical education by supervising trainees, conducting teaching rounds, and participating in conferences. They will also contribute to research initiatives, division growth, and community outreach.
Qualities sought include professionalism, teamwork, respect, and a commitment to the division's mission of excellence in clinical care, education, and leadership. Flexibility for after-hours call and strong communication skills are essential.
