Role Overview:

Provides direct patient care in an outpatient oncology setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.
Develops and documents individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the healthcare team, patients, and families, and communicates across care continuum.
Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.
Works in a safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and safe practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree; Bachelor's preferred.
Licenses: Active RN license.
Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.

Additional Requirements:

Chemo certification and previous oncology experience are preferred.
