Job Description
We are seeking a Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist with proton therapy experience to join a growing, comprehensive cancer center.
The role involves providing patient-centered, compassionate care within a collaborative team of radiation oncologists, advanced practice providers, medical physicists, dosimetrists, radiation therapists, nurses, and medical assistants.
Key responsibilities include managing a patient load of approximately 75 treatments daily, participating in community outreach, and promoting the practice through relationship-building events.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of clinical experience, is licensed or eligible for licensure in Tennessee, and possesses proton therapy expertise (preferred).
Qualifications include a current ABR certification, a commitment to quality care, and the ability to actively engage in community initiatives.
The center is equipped with advanced technology such as pencil beam scanning proton therapy, Elekta linear accelerators, and cutting-edge treatment planning software.
Located in a scenic region known for its outdoor activities, low cost of living, excellent schools, and a vibrant community, the area offers a high quality of life with four seasons, outdoor recreation, and convenient travel options.
