Medical Oncology RN - Per Diem

Role: Provides direct patient care as a Registered Nurse (RN) in an Oncology setting, promoting patient safety and quality care.

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participate in activities supporting patient safety, regulatory compliance, and professional development.
• Use critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.
• Work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications & Skills

• Educational requirements include a Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
RN license required; no prior experience necessary, but <2 years of experience is preferred.• Strong communication, assessment, and patient education skills.

Key Duties: Care delivery on a 32-bed inpatient oncology unit, participation in self-scheduling, and engagement in professional growth opportunities.
