Role Overview



The Medication Aide/Med Tech is responsible for administering medications and treatments to residents in accordance with physician orders, ensuring safety, accuracy, and dignity. Key duties include following the Six Rights of Medication Administration, documenting accurately in MAR/TAR, monitoring residents during and after medication passes, reporting concerns promptly, and maintaining clean medication carts and rooms. The role involves observing residents for health changes, preventing medication errors, and adhering to infection control and safety standards.



Qualifications And Skills





- High School Diploma/GED and age 18+
- Medication Administration certification
- CPR and First Aid certifications
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Preferred experience in senior care
