Role Overview
Seeking licensed pharmacists to provide patient-centered, clinically oriented care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include assessing, monitoring, initiating, and modifying medication therapy, ensuring accurate dispensing, and resolving medication-related issues. Supervises supportive personnel, educates patients, and manages medication procurement, storage, and disposal. Participates in departmental meetings, collaborates with healthcare professionals, and serves as a medication therapy resource.
Qualifications & Skills
- Pharmacy Bachelor's Degree required; Doctorate preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience; supervision experience not required.
- Licenses including MO Medication Therapy Services and RPh certification.
- Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and collaborative skills.
Key Duties
- Manage workflow, oversee technicians and interns, and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness, document activities, and promote safety.
- Participate in training, drug information, and care transitions to optimize therapy.
- Identify opportunities for efficiency and safety improvements.
