Role Overview

This position involves providing direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and participation in safety, quality, and regulatory activities. Nurses develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interprofessional team, ensuring effective communication across care settings. Critical skills include evaluating physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations. This safety-sensitive role requires alertness and safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred
• RN licensure
• Experience in IR, Cath Lab, ED, or ICU (Critical Care) with a minimum of 2 years preferred
• No supervisory experience required

• Participate in activities ensuring patient safety, quality, and compliance
• Develop, implement, and document comprehensive care plans in collaboration with the team and patients
