Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse Manager

Role Overview



This position involves managing patient care, personnel, and equipment within a Cardiac Cath Lab environment. The nurse will oversee staff, coordinate workflows, and ensure adherence to clinical and safety standards. Responsibilities include hiring, training, evaluating performance, and supporting departmental operational and budget goals. The role requires creating and implementing care plans based on assessments, managing staffing needs, and maintaining compliance with policies. The nurse will also handle administrative duties such as payroll, staff communication, and performance reviews.



Qualifications & Skills





- Registered Nurse (RN) license with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- 2-5 years of nursing experience; preferred experience in Cardiac Cath or Electrophysiology Labs, or procedural/critical care nursing.
- Leadership experience is advantageous, with some supervisory experience preferred.
- Required certifications include BLS and ACLS; ability to obtain within 90 days if necessary.
- Strong critical thinking, clinical expertise, staff management, and communication skills.
