Assistant Nurse Manager - GYN Oncology

Role Overview: This position involves managing a specialized 24-bed unit dedicated to female patients with GYN Oncology issues, providing moderate to high acuity care including chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, symptom and pain management, palliative, and hospice care.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate patient care, develop collaborative care plans, and ensure documentation according to policy.
Manage staff hiring, training, performance evaluation, and professional development.
Oversee staffing, productivity, and department operational goals, including budget adherence.
Supervise daily operations, manage staff scheduling, payroll, and communications.
Ensure safety and compliance, supporting high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills

BSN required; RN license essential.
2-5 years of nursing experience; less than 2 years of supervisory experience acceptable.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
