Assistant Nurse Manager GYN ONC

Role Overview:

This position involves coordinating patient care on a specialized 24-bed unit focused on female-related health issues, primarily GYN Oncology. Responsibilities include managing staff, overseeing patient interventions, and ensuring quality care through a multidisciplinary team. The role requires leadership in staffing, performance evaluation, and adherence to operational goals, including budget management and staff development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage personnel, including hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and conducting professional development.
• Develop and maintain staffing plans, budgets, and respond to operational needs.
• Provide and oversee patient care based on assessments, creating collaborative care plans aligned with medical treatments.
• Handle staff scheduling, payroll reconciliation, and performance reviews, ensuring productivity and compliance.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed in a safety-sensitive environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Required: BSN, RN license, 2-5 years of experience, with some supervisory experience preferred for advanced roles.
• Preferred: 5-10 years of experience with less than 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
