Assistant Nurse Manager GYN ONC

Role Overview:

Provides specialized nursing care to female patients on a 24-bed GYN Oncology unit, focusing on complex interventions such as chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, pain management, and palliative and hospice care. Coordinates multidisciplinary team efforts to deliver comprehensive patient care tailored to individual needs.

Responsibilities:

• Manage staff including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development to meet departmental goals.
• Assist in staffing, budgeting, and ensuring operational efficiency.
• Oversee patient care planning, documentation, and implementation based on assessment and treatment plans.
• Coordinate staff scheduling, payroll, and communication to maintain productivity and compliance.
• Conduct performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and support staff development.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• RN license with 2-5 years of experience; preferred 5-10 years.
• Supervisory experience is preferred, with at least 2 years for higher-level roles.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
