Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts | Start time varies between 6:30 AM – 9:00 AM based on volume and machine schedule
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver radiation therapy treatments to patients in accordance with prescribed treatment plans
• Operate and monitor radiation therapy equipment, adjusting schedules based on volume and machine availability
• Collaborate with the oncology care team to ensure accurate and safe treatment delivery
• Maintain thorough and accurate patient treatment records and documentation
• May be expected to float between nearby sister facilities as needed during the assignment
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist required
• Valid state license or compact license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• All time-off requests and specific scheduling needs must be submitted upfront at the time of candidacy — post-offer requests may not be accommodated
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard terms; locals within 50 miles may be considered at an adjusted rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in a high-volume radiation therapy or oncology setting
• Familiarity with varied treatment machine schedules and workflow flexibility
• Prior travel contract or multi-site experience preferred
