Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Oncology unit requiring an active MA RN license and offering night shift assignments.

Details

- LTAC Oncology unit setting
- Patient population requiring chemotherapy administration and diagnosis management
- Uses Epic for charting
- Night shift schedule (19:00-07:30)
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage required


Requirements

- Active MA RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
- Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
- Primary source license verification required within 30 days of start via NURSYS and BON
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed


Additional Information

- Interpret plans of medical care and apply clinical decision-making for individualized nursing care
- Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions or side effects
- Maintain accurate patient records including vital signs and condition changes
- Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Modify treatment plans based on patient response and condition
- Local candidates accepted if residing within 60 miles of Boston, with rate adjusted accordingly
- Time is tracked using UKG/Kronos
