OverviewOccupational Therapist – Acute Care, Lanham, Maryland, United States. This travel temporary assignment begins 11/30/2026 for 13 weeks. Earn $2,050 to $2,135 per week with guaranteed 35 hours per week. Shift pattern is 5x8 days with daytime hours (08:00–16:30). Work setting: skilled nursing facility providing rehabilitation services. The assignment is managed through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,050–$2,135 per week- Guaranteed hours: 35 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: 5x8 days, daytime hours (08:00–16:30)- Start date: 11/30/2026- Work setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (acute care rehabilitation)Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and re-evaluations for adults receiving rehab services.- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve independence in activities of daily living and functional mobility.- Deliver targeted therapy sessions and modalities to address fine motor, cognitive, and upper-extremity function deficits.- Recommend and train on adaptive equipment, splints, environmental modifications, and safety strategies to support safe daily function.- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (PT, SLP, nursing, social services) on discharge planning and goal alignment.- Document assessments, progress notes, goals, and treatment updates in accordance with facility policies and HIPAA.Requirements- Active Maryland Occupational Therapy license or current eligibility for licensure- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (accredited program) or equivalent OT education- Minimum 1 year of OT experience in acute care or skilled nursing settings preferred- Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility environment and participate in a 13-week travel assignment- Availability to commence on 11/30/2026 and commit to the 13-week termBenefits and Support- Weekly pay range: $2,050–$2,135- Guaranteed hours: 35 per week- Assignment duration: 13 weeks with potential extension opportunities- Travel and assignment coordination support from Healthforce Healthcare LLCFind more opportunitiesFind additional occupational therapy openings at Healthforce Healthcare LLC by visiting https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
