Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments using linear accelerators in accordance with treatment plans
• Position patients, apply immobilization devices, and verify setup with imaging and data prompts
• Operate treatment machines safely, monitor dose delivery, and adhere to safety protocols
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and other therapists to implement treatment plans
• Document treatments, maintain accurate patient records, and ensure clean, organized treatment spaces
• Monitor patient status during treatment sessions and report adverse events or equipment concerns promptly

Requirements

• Active license or permit to practice radiation therapy as required in the state of Pennsylvania
• Certification as Radiation Therapist and/or per state/accrediting body requirements
• Relevant experience: 1 year of recent clinical radiation therapy experience preferred
• Education: Associate degree in Radiation Therapy or a closely related field
• Ability to work in a hospital setting and adhere to a daytime 8:00am–4:30pm schedule
