Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a Magnet-designated teaching hospital requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARRT-N, CNMT, or NMTCB certification.
Details
• Nuclear Medicine department in a 186 staffed-bed Magnet and teaching hospital
• 5x8 day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• May take call depending on department needs
• May float from PET to Nuclear Medicine as needed
• Adult patient population in a hospital setting
• Procedures include HIDA scans, PET scans, and lung ventilation/perfusion scans
• Uses Philips and Siemens equipment
• Charting performed in Epic
Requirements
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• ARRT-N, CNMT, or NMTCB certification required (only one needed)
• License required if applicable
• Adult and hospital experience required
• Epic experience required
• Skilled in venipuncture, package receipt/return, and NMIS system documentation
• Ability to work independently required
• Proficient in isolation precautions/PPE, starting and maintaining IVs, and storing/handling/disposal of radioactive materials
• 1 professional reference required
Additional Information
• Free parking available on site
• Navy blue scrub color required
• First-time travelers considered with a strong clinical background
• Former staff must be separated from the facility for at least 2 years to return as a traveler
• Up to 7 days of RTO can be auto-approved
• Local candidates not accepted within 75 miles of the hospital
• Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted
• COVID vaccine and booster required with religious/medical exemptions only
