## The Role
We are seeking a Seattle Territory Sales Manager, Oncology, a field-based role concentrating on sales goals within the prostate cancer therapeutic category for a territory covering Greater Seattle and Alaska. The ideal candidate has a proven record in urology or medical oncology and thrives in a nimble, start-up environment. They will be responsible for preparing and executing a new product launch plan, working with a cross-functional team, and must live in the Greater Seattle area.
### Duties
- Ensuring successful product launch outcomes and territory sales through brand plan strategies.
- Building and maintaining relationships with all relevant stakeholders, including medical oncology, urology providers, radiation oncologists, medical groups, patient advocacy groups, and support staff.
- Developing deep product expertise and communicating clinically relevant messaging.
- Driving demand through engaging dialogue with HCPs and use of educational resources.
- Creating territory business plans and tracking progress.
- Monitoring competitive activity and reporting to leadership.
- Partnering with internal teams (Regional Sales Managers, Marketing, Training, Commercial Operations, Market Access) for launch execution.
- Complying with SMPA policies and all applicable federal and state laws (e.g., FDA regulations, Anti
- Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, Ph. RMA guidelines).
- Coverage may involve a large geographic area with occasional overnight travel.
### Core Competencies
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals in assigned geography.
- Expertise in technical knowledge, sales techniques, and data interpretation in oncology/urology.
- Proficiency in virtual/remote customer interactions and technology platforms.
- Experience with total office calls and knowledge of GPO contracts, IDN influence, reimbursement, and copay.
- Understanding of payer mix, reimbursement environment, and distribution.
### Education and Experience
- BA/BS degree (life sciences or business preferred).
- 7+ years validated commercial experience in pharmaceutical, diagnostic, or healthcare industry, preferably specialty pharmaceuticals.
- Recent experience in urology, oncology, or men's health.
- Product launch experience and start-up culture preferred.
- Account Management, Market Access, or Advocacy experience desirable.
- Account-based experience (Academic Hospital and IDNs) valued.
### Work Environment and Travel
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report required.
- Travel is required: approximately 25-30% with overnight as needed (also stated as 60-80% travel depending on definition). Regular time in the field, long periods of driving, walking, standing, sitting.
- Use of standard office equipment, computer work, lifting up to 20 pounds, occasional stooping or kneeling.
- Candidates must live in the Greater Seattle area.
### Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary range: $150,400 - $188,000.
- Total rewards include merit-based increases, short incentive plan participation, eligibility for 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, and paid time off (flexible PTO, 11 paid holidays, additional shut-down period during last week of December, 80 hours of sick time upon hire).
- Total compensation, including base salary, will depend on candidate experience, skills, education, and other factors permitted by law.
