Role Summary
This position involves performing imaging procedures and treatments aligned with radiology standards to support diagnosis and therapy. It requires developing and implementing appropriate procedure plans, maintaining equipment and work areas, and ensuring safety for patients and staff. The role includes documentation compliance and participation in performance improvement activities to uphold quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills
• Registered by NMTCB or ARRT(N), or a new graduate awaiting certification, with proof due within 60 days of graduation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Basic computer skills are essential; advanced skills preferred.
• Licensure as mandated by state regulations.
Responsibilities
• Apply radiologic principles, techniques, and positioning for optimal procedures.
• Develop and execute treatment plans following hospital protocols.
• Maintain documentation and ensure equipment and workspaces are safe and clean.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and achieve assigned goals.
