Job Description
Role: Advanced Radiology Technologist responsible for performing complex imaging procedures, including operating advanced equipment such as surgical navigation systems, c-arm and o-arm fluoroscopic devices, to support procedural work in the operating room.
Key Responsibilities
• Review patient history, assist with scheduling, and educate patients about procedures.
• Prepare and administer contrast media or medications within scope of practice.
• Operate imaging equipment, select appropriate parameters, and ensure safety standards.
• Position patients, perform imaging, analyze results, and troubleshoot quality issues.
• Work independently with critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Skills
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered ARRT Radiologic Technologist with applicable certifications.
• Two years of experience, including OR or procedural navigation duties.
• Current BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.
