Job Description
**Summary Benefits:**
* Salary up to $4500 (Based on Experience)

* Opportunity to gain further experience in oncology nursing and chemotherapy care.
**Responsibilities:**
* Support doctors and the clinic team in ensuring smooth daily oncology clinic operations.
* Prepare patients for consultations, including venepuncture, blood collection and laboratory investigations.
* Administer chemotherapy and other prescribed treatments according to clinical protocols and safety standards.
* Perform IV cannulation and Port-a-Cath access/care where required.
* Monitor patients during treatment and provide nursing care, education and emotional support.
* Coordinate appointments, investigations, referrals and follow-up care.
* Review and track laboratory/investigation results for timely patient follow-up.
* Dispense medications and provide appropriate patient education as instructed by doctors.
* Monitor medication and medical supply inventory and assist with stock management.
* Maintain accurate nursing records and comply with infection control and regulatory requirements.
* Provide financial counselling to patients and caregivers regarding treatment costs, Medisave and insurance matters.
* Participate in after-hours patient support on a roster basis when required.
* Support general clinic administration and other duties assigned by the Doctor or Nurse Manager.
**Requirements:**
* Registered Nurse with valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) registration, BCLS and AED certification.
* Minimum 2--3 years of nursing experience; oncology experience is an advantage.
* Experience in venepuncture and cannulation is strongly preferred.
* Competent in IV cannulation and Port-a-Cath access/care.
* Comfortable working with oncology patients and administering treatments according to clinical protocols.
* Strong patient-care, communication and interpersonal skills.
