Senior Radiation Therapist - Full Time

Job Summary: Assists with dosimetric calculations, treatment planning, quality assurance, and data input, providing radiation therapy according to physician prescriptions. Supports department operations, serves as a technical expert, and mentors staff on technical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Delivers prescribed radiation therapy, ensuring safety and accuracy.
• Prepares treatment rooms and equipment, transfers patients, and monitors reactions during treatment.
• Maintains detailed records of treatments and patient charts to prevent errors.
• Supervises and evaluates students’ practical skills.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• Required: ARRT-Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T) and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology (TRT) certifications.
• Preferred: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in radiation oncology and three years of radiation therapy experience.
• Licenses include BLS certification.
• Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate procedures effectively.
