Interventional Radiology RN - PRN

Position: Registered Nurse, Interventional Radiology

Location: Elmhurst

Pay Range: $37.25 - $57.74 per hour, based on experience and expertise

Responsibilities Include

• Providing nursing care for Interventional Radiology patients
• Administering IV conscious sedation and medications under physician direction
• Monitoring patient status during procedures and responding to emergencies
• Managing IVs, central lines, and dressing changes
• Collaborating with radiologists, technologists, and care teams for safe, efficient procedures
• Supporting procedure scheduling and patient flow
• Educating patients and families on procedures, recovery, and follow-up care
• Documenting care accurately in Epic
• Supporting quality and safety initiatives, including equipment readiness
• Precepting and mentoring new staff members

Qualifications And Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab experience
• Active IL RN license
• Graduation from an NLN-accredited nursing school; BSN preferred (must obtain within 5 years)
• CPR, BLS, and ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
