We are searching for the best talent for a **Senior Oncology District Manager** to lead the Great Plains area. This is a field-based role to be based within Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Arkansas, or Oklahoma. While specific locations are listed, we invite candidates from the area to apply.
### About the Role
As the Senior Oncology District Manager, you will manage a team of field-based Oncology Sales Specialists. You are accountable for conducting effective performance management and directing the oncology sales team in the implementation of the sales plan to assure maximum distribution and market penetration of products, all within guidelines, policies, and directives. You ensure equal and consistent application of established policies and procedures in managing employees to meet or exceed sales goals. Your role involves directing the operation of sales strategy and managing activities required to maximize brand objectives across sales and marketing.
You will lead a team that plans and executes territory business plans for our breakthrough products in oncology. We are the fastest growing oncology company, focused on transforming care and delivering innovative therapies for patients facing unmet medical needs. Our robust portfolio includes cutting-edge oral, biologic, and cell therapies. You will demonstrate business and clinical expertise, build strategic plans, and guide your team to deliver sales results within an assigned budget. Possessing strong leadership skills, you will build a high-performing, motivated, and engaged team while developing individual talent and managing performance. You will connect with internal and external customers to shape our business and help appropriate patients. This role requires working in the field with minimal supervision, adapting quickly to change, and demonstrating an understanding of pharmaceutical/biotech regulatory and promotional guidelines.
### Qualifications
A minimum of a **Bachelor's degree** is required. You must have at least **eight years of relevant work experience**, with a minimum of **five years of sales or cross-functional experience** in key commercial roles (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Access/Payer, Analytics, or Business Development) within the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or healthcare industry. A demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and motivate others to success is essential. You must hold a valid driver's license issued in one of the fifty United States and be willing to travel as needed, up to 40%, which may include overnight/weekend travel.
Preferred qualifications include experience in oncology, hospital and/or large account sales, and leading through complex reimbursement issues. Prior people management experience overseeing a mid-sized team or completion of a Management Development Program is valued. Expertise in high-level planning, organizing, and business planning is a plus. We look for a demonstrated commitment to learning emerging technologies, such as AI, through exploration, iteration, and applying new tools over time. Experience building team AI literacy and confidence, reinforcing trusted and responsible AI use and sound judgment is also preferred.
### Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated base pay range for this position is **$141,000 - $243,800**. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an **annual performance bonus** in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program. Time off benefits include:
- Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year
- Sick time – up to 40 hours per calendar year (56 hours for employees in Washington state)
- Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year
- Work, Personal and Family Time – up to 40 hours per calendar year
