Step into an impactful role supporting students as a licensed Occupational Therapist within a dynamic educational environment. This full-time, contract assignment is ideal for professionals eager to provide essential services while covering a maternity leave. Spanning several school sites, youll work closely with staff and students to foster greater participation and independence through school-based OT interventions.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid, active North Carolina OT license (please be ready to provide a current license snapshot)

• Previous experience delivering occupational therapy services in school settings

• Familiarity with ECATS for tracking and documenting student progress

• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and administrators

• Flexible approachwilling to travel within the district and adapt to itinerant assignments

• Previous experience working with diverse pediatric caseloads is highly valued

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students needs, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct occupational therapy services

• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to optimize students engagement and success within the school environment

• Maintain organized, timely documentation using ECATS and comply with regulatory requirements

• Participate in IEP/504 meetings and provide input on students progress and program recommendations

• Consult with classroom staff to support carryover of therapy interventions throughout the day
