School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) | Pittsburg, California

As an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) working with five elementary schools, youll make a significant difference in young learners lives. This contract position, located near Pittsburg, CA, offers part-time hours (approximately 21 hours weekly) with a flexible start date and a schedule extending through the end of the school year.

Your skills in school-based OT, healthcare, home health, or teletherapy will be highly valued and well utilized through a blend of direct and consultative services. Desired Qualifications:

• Active California OT or COTA license

• Experience in school-based, healthcare, home health, or teletherapy OT settings

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with staff and families

• Ability to manage and prioritize a varied caseload across multiple campuses

• Passion for promoting student independence and functional abilities in an educational setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students across five campuses

• Assess student needs and develop individualized intervention plans

• Collaborate with educational teams to support student success

• Document services and progress in accordance with school policy

• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for goal planning

• Utilize both in-person and technology-supported service options as appropriate
