Job Description
Role Lead, Toxicity & Environmental Health Specialist Support w2 work
- Provide support to case managers by tracking, updating, and closing lead exposure and healthy homes cases.
- Audit case files to identify needed follow-up actions and ensure compliance.
- Enter and monitor lead test results, investigating any reporting issues or data discrepancies.
- Review testing reports to identify trends or potential issues in lead exposure cases.
- Oversee case management queues, including document review, approval processes, and case closures.
- Track required case information and coordinate with staff to resolve missing or incomplete documentation.
- Serve as backup for daily administrative processes, such as system approvals, fax processing, and lead-result data entry.
- Coordinate communication and activities with local health departments and healthcare agencies as needed.
- Maintain accurate data records and assist with related reporting tasks.
- Work on-site in Indianapolis with potential for limited travel (mileage reimbursed).
- Support overall program operations for lead toxicity, case management, and healthy homes initiatives.
Qualifications Summary
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage and track multiple cases across various locations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Adobe, and webinar/conference-call technologies.
- Bachelor s degree required.
- Ability to learn lead toxicity, case management, and healthy homes support services.
- Knowledge of relevant lead-related laws/regulations (such as 410 IAC 29) is a plus.
