Job Description
Role: Charge Registered Nurse - Surgery/OR
Key Responsibilities
• Provide professional nursing care, assessing patient conditions, recognizing deviations, and planning and evaluating care.
• Monitor patient progress and document observations accurately.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to staff and collaborate as a team to meet unit goals.
Qualifications & Skills
• Current Illinois RN licensure and CPR (BLS) certification.
• Associate degree in nursing (BSN required within 5 years).
• ACLS and PALS certifications within ninety days of employment.
• Preferred: Baccalaureate degree, OR/Surgery experience, OR Charge experience.
Additional Details
• Full-time role with shift hours from 3 pm to 11 pm, including call responsibilities.
• Compensation based on experience, including shift, on-call, and holiday pay, with opportunities for incentives and annual increases.
